Another trip around the sun… my latest single “solar” is out now on all platforms!  Today is my birthday, and it feels especially meaningful that I’m releasing this song today. As I hit the quarter-century mark, it’s made me reflect on how I’ve grown, how things in my life have changed, and the relationships I have, as well as those I may have fallen out of.  
Things in life can often be so transient, but true connections pull you closer together. The strongest connections - those made through love - will keep you in orbit. friends, family, and significant others.   But as time goes on and you spin in each other’s orbits, you begin to see different sides of yourself and others over time - for the only constant in life is change. Sometimes you fall in and out of people’s orbits, and relationships can start to take on an essence of ephemerality
 Life, much like a solar system, can be circular. Things that you think you’ve lost can come back to you in new shapes in forms in ways you can never expect. But always, the one through line that connects us through time, transcends space, and emboldens our memories, is love.  “solar” captures all of these feelings for me, and putting it out today not only marks the first release off of my upcoming EP “ephemeral”, but also marks a new chapter for me in life and in art.   I want to give a huge thank you to @kristinetheplant whose video, “solar system of romantic relationships”, I sample on this track. Without your creative inspiration none of this would’ve been possible, and I’m so grateful to you for allowing me to use your vocals to bring this song to life! My new EP ‘shades of blue’ is out now on all platforms!

This is my first original release in 4 years, and I’m so happy to finally be able to share this project with you all. Huge thank you to the incredibly talented @mohakjain_ for creating this amazing album art ❤️ eternally grateful for your help in executing this vision

These past few years have been such a crazy journey, with DJ-ing playing such a major role in my life. Those experiences have had such a profound influence on my music, exposing me to so many colorful sonic worlds - from house, to techno, dnb, and garage. Those influences forever changed my approach to music production and ultimately, my sound.

But when people asked me about my music, I always found myself in such a dilemma: whatever I had on Spotify was so old that it was no longer reflective of my current influences, and whatever I had on SoundCloud was so experimental that it wasn’t refined enough to represent the ideas I really wanted to express either.

That’s why I set a resolution to release to release a project that I felt would truly capture my perspectives on music and sound by the end of 2024. And after months of endless tinkering, I’m glad to say this is it - ‘shades of blue’

Collected some clips of my trip to Greece with my family last summer that I filmed with an old camcorder. I recorded a set of some of the deep house tracks I was listening to when I was visiting out there and layered the two together.

I made these songs with some of my friends and very first collaborators in high school @sedonasworld @simoneemichelle @amalia and @jdrussll It makes me feel so old to think about the fact that I released this 7 years ago now, and idk why I never posted this album on Spotify but I figured better late than never right?
